Welcome
If you are interested in the organ and its music you will be very welcome at the Halifax & District Organists' Association.
You don't actually have to play the organ to be a member. All that is required is a love of the King of Instruments and the glorious music written for it over half a millenium. No other instrument has such a varied solo repertoire!
We hold meetings in the Halifax area once a month from September through to June, sometimes jointly with neighbouring associations. Meeting formats include talks, master classes, an annual dinner, the President's Evening (a social get-together), visits and recitals.
